RADT2250 : Advanced Imaging Syllabus

This course explores specialized radiographic imaging procedures beyond conventional radiography. Students will study advanced modalities such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology. Emphasis is placed on understanding indications, procedures, safety considerations, and equipment used in each modality, along with the evolving role of the radiologic technologist.
